Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dragan Covic and Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdic handed over the country’s answers to European Commission’s Questionnaire to European officials on Wednesday.

Replies were handed over during an official ceremony in Sarajevo to European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker and Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn.

BiH CoM Chairman Zvizdic underlined that preparation and harmonization of replies represented the most complex phase so far in the process of meeting obligations from the European agenda.

The Questionnaire, which was handed over to Zvizdic by Commissioner Hahn on December 9, 2016, contained a total of 3,242 questions.

A total of 1,100 institutions from all levels of authority in BiH participated in the process of preparing replies to questions from the European Commission’s Questionnaire.

Replies contain the information requested by the European Commission for the preparation of the Opinion on the application of Bosnia and Herzegovina for membership in the European Union.
