Footpath and bike lane has been officially opened on Mount Trebevic in Istocni Stari Grad Municipality.

Three-kilometer footpath and bike lane, which connects Trebevic Cable Car with the popular outing spot Brus, is the longest of its kind in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Construction was financed through the USAID’s Restoring Accountability and Supporting Transformation (RAST) Project, which is implemented in Bosnia and Herzegovina by the Catholic Relief Services, in cooperation with local communities.

The newly-constructed footpath and bike lane was officially opened by Head of Istocni Stari Grad Municipality Bojo Gasanovic, Deputy US Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Ellen Germain and USAID Mission Director in BiH Peter Duffy.
