The first movie museum ‘Valter brani Sarajevo’ (‘Valter defends Sarajevo’) is officially going to open its doors to the public on April 6, the Day of the City of Sarajevo.

The Museum is an idea implemented by the Film Center Sarajevo and it is meant to become an homage to the cult 1972 movie directed by Hajrudin Siba Krvavac.

The ‘Valter brani Sarajevo’ museum will be an interactive museum, with elements of set-designed showrooms for the movie enthusiasts, but also for a wider audience, including tourists from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the region and the entire world.

The Museum will feature attractive movie scenography, costumes, audio and video material, as well as gift shop, with movies from the Film Center Sarajevo’s catalogue, wallpapers, posters, t-shirts, hats, and other similar products.
