Ambassador Pammer wins ski race on Jahorina Mountain

Foreign ambassadors in BiH took part in a ski race on Jahorina Mountain on Monday, which was organized by the UK Embassy to BiH in cooperation with the Olympic Center Jahorina and the UK-BiH Agency for Promotion of Ski Vacations 'Ski Sarajevo'.

Austrian Ambassador to BiH Martin Pammer was the race winner. Deputy Head of the Council of Europe's Office in BiH Toni Pavloski won the second place and the third place was taken by Ambassador to Czech Republic to BiH Jakub Skalnik. UK Ambassador to BiH Edward Ferguson, Italian Ambassador to BiH Nicola Minasi, Slovakian Ambassadors to BiH Martin Kaco and Head of the Council of Europe's Office in BiH Drahoslav Stefanek also took part in the competition.

Pammer said it was his pleasure to ski in BiH, and that he never won the first place in his own country.

Following the ski race, the ambassadors attended a presentation of Olympic Center Jahorina, Sunnyland and Ski Center Ravna Planina. Ferguson said on this occasion that BiH has great potential when it comes to ski tourism.
"Ski race of the ambassadors could become a regular event", he stressed.
