Regional march marking the launch of a fur-free campaign of South-East Europe ‘Fur Free Forever’ (#furfreeforever) is set to take place in capital cities of five countries covered by the campaign - Sarajevo, Belgrade, Podgorica, and Budapest on Saturday, May 5, and Sofia on May 12.

After meeting up by the Eternal Flame memorial in Sarajevo at 1500 hours on Saturday, the march will proceed towards the area in front of the Sacred Heart Cathedral.

The campaign is organized by the region’s animal welfare organizations with the aim to raise awareness about the negative effects that fur industry has on animal welfare and environment, as well as to seek national bans on fur farms amid growing trend of outlawing fur farming around the globe.
