Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko became the first player in history to score at least 50 goals in three of Europe’s top five leagues. 

Dzeko scored a brace against SSC Napoli at San Paolo on Saturday evening - his first since October 18, 2017 against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge - to increase his tally to 50 goals in 95 Serie A appearances for AS Roma.

Previously, Dzeko scored 66 goals in 111 Bundesliga appearances for VfL Wolfsburg, and 50 goals in 130 Premier League games playing as a striker for Manchester City.  

31-year-old Dzeko has so far scored a total of 251 goals in 565 games for FK Zeljeznicar, Usti nad Labem, Teplice, Wolfsburg, Manchester City and Roma.

He has also scored a record 52 goals for the national football team of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
