Movies from four countries - Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia and Poland - will be screened in the Meeting Point Cinema on October 3-6.
Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia and Poland are members of the so-called Visegrád Group, or V4, a cultural and political alliance established in 1991 for the purposes of advancing military, cultural, economic and energy cooperation among those four countries, along with furthering their integration in the EU.
Four movies to be screened in the Meeting Point Cinema are ‘Jan Palach’ (2018) by Czech director Robert Sedlacek, ‘Trezor’ (2018) by Hungary’s Peter Bergendy, Slovakian movie ‘Intimate Enemy’ (2018) by Karel Janak, and ‘Gods’ (2014) by Polish director Lukasz Palkowski.
Entrance to all the screenings is free of charge. All movies will be screened at 2000 hrs.
