100th edition of ‘Santic’s Poetry Nights’, an event dedicated to famous poet from Mostar Aleksa Santic, will commence on Sunday, October 6.

The opening ceremony will take place at the Serb Orthodox Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in Mostar, which is still being reconstructed. The event will be opened by Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik.

Chairwoman of the Organizing Committee Sanja Bjelica-Sagovnovic said that the event would last one month and would take place at several locations in Mostar, as well as in Nevesinje and Banja Luka.

This year’s program will include several book promotions and theater plays, including premiere of ‘Sto te nema’ (‘Why aren’t you here’) play at the Mostar National Theater on October 11 at 2000 hrs.
