The Week of Italian Movies in Bosnia and Herzegovina continues on Thursday evening with the screening of movie ‘Il bene mio’ (‘My own good’) by Pippo Mezzapesa in the Meeting Point Cinema in Sarajevo, 13 Hamdije Kresevljakovica Street.

Small Italian village Provvidenza was destroyed by an earthquake. The last remaining inhabitant Elia refuses to go along with the rest of the community, which has resettled in Nuova Provvidenza and put the past behind them. To Elia, his town is still alive, and thanks to the help of an old friend, Gesualdo, he strains to keep its memory alive as well.

Screening is scheduled for 2000 hrs, and the entry is free of charge.

The Week of Italian Movies is organized as a part of the 7th Season of Italian Culture in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Movies are to be screened in Sarajevo (until November 9), Mostar (tonight), Tuzla (until November 9), Visegrad and Lukavica (on Friday, November 8), Trebinje (on Saturday, November 9), and Doboj (also on November 9).
