Diplomatic Winter Bazaar will take place in the Skenderija Center in Sarajevo on December 7.
The Bazaar is a traditional charity event organized by members of the international community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with the local community.
This year’s Diplomatic Winter Bazaar will be held on Saturday, December 7 from 1100 to 1700 hrs in the ‘Mirza Delibasic’ sports hall. Tickets will cost BAM five, while the entry for children under 10 years of age and accompanied by an adult will be free of charge.
As usual, all the proceeds will be donated to children and youth throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.
More than 40 embassies and international organizations, as well as more than 80 local exhibitors and non-governmental organizations, are expected to participate in the Diplomatic Winter Bazaar. Five embassies - those of Brazil, Montenegro, Qatar, Pakistan and Poland - will participate for the first time ever.
Visitors will be able to enjoy different kinds of traditional or exotic dishes from around the world, buy famous international brands of apparel or different food-related items that the exhibitors brought from their countries of origin, as well as handicrafts.
Bingo will also be organized during the bazaar, and those who purchase bingo tickets will have an opportunity to win valuable prizes provided by a number of donors.
Last year’s Diplomatic Winter Bazaar collected a total of BAM 212,000, which were distributed to 17 organizations throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.
