The City of Sarajevo has organized additional screenings of the ‘Scream for me, Sarajevo’ documentary in the Sarajevo City Hall.
The movie will be screened every day between September 9 and December 31, three times a day - at 11:00, 14:00 and 17:00 hrs - and every visitor to the Sarajevo City Hall who pays the entrance fee will be able to watch it.
The documentary, which is considered one of the most important testimonies about the life in besieged Sarajevo, tells the story of the 1994 concert given by Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson and his band in the Bosnian capital.
‘Scream for me, Sarajevo’ was screened at more than 20 festivals worldwide, as well as in 150 theaters in the UK and more than 500 theaters throughout the world.
The movie, which premiered at the 22nd Sarajevo Film Festival in 2016, won ten awards and numerous other recognitions, including the ‘Movie of the Week’ award of the European Documentary Network.
‘Scream for me Sarajevo’ was written by Jasenko Pasic, directed by Tarik Hodzic and produced by Prime Time Production.
