Outdoor holiday venue ‘Jana Ice Garden’ will officially open on Thursday at the Trg Oslobodjenja - Alija Izetbegovic Square in downtown Sarajevo.
The project was supported by the Stari Grad Sarajevo Municipality, the Centar Sarajevo Municipality, the Sarajevo Canton Government and the Ministry of Tourism and Environment of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Representatives of ‘Jana’ company explained that ‘Jana Ice Garden’ would feature a large ice rink throughout the park and the Ferhadija Street.
The ice rink will be open every day from 12:30 to 22:00 hrs, and will be free of charge for children under twelve years of age.
60-meter-long zip-line and 150 square meters of sledding space will be set up for children as well.
Organizers are also planning free workshops for children, presentation of multidisciplinary ‘Lego Think Thank’ program for children aged 3-6, as well as presentation of natural phenomena and ‘Winter holiday story’ event prepared by the Sarajevo Libraries.
The Jägermeister Ice Cold Bar will officially open on Thursday evening with the concert of pop band ‘Crvena Jabuka’. Concerts in the Jägermeister Ice Cold Bar will take place every night, and are scheduled to begin at 21:00 hrs.
