Volunteers from the charity association ‘Ruku na Srce’ have launched the project named ‘Od srca za nju’ (‘For Her from the Heart’) for the second year in a row, with the goal of securing as many as possible hygiene supplies for women with poor financial status - thus making the International Women’s Day, March 8, at least a little bit happier for those women.
The association has called on students, pupils, citizens and representatives of companies, associations and sports teams to join their cause.
“Motivated by the successes of our projects and well-aware of the fact that hygiene supplies are necessary, but also a heavy burden for budgets of families struggling with poor financial status, we’ve decided to re-launch this project. Given the fact that the International Women's Day is soon approaching, we believe that it was an ideal opportunity to bring a smile on faces of many girls and women”, said Nejla Hrustan, President of the Association ‘Ruku na Srce’.
All donations can be delivered to the premises of the ‘Homework Hub’, 12 Kolodvorska Street in Sarajevo, between 09:00 and 22:00 hrs.
It is also possible to donate money directly into the bank account of the association ‘Ruku na Srce’, which is 1990490056036171, at Sparkasse Bank, for the purpose: Projekat ‘Od srca za nju’.
Donations will be collected until Friday, March 6.
