Commenting on the fact that Bosnia and Herzegovina has been suspended from the Council of Europe for failing to appoint members of country’s delegation to the CoE Parliamentary Assembly within the six-month deadline, Jagland said that “full participation of a member country in statutory bodies of the Council of Europe is not a matter of choice, but an obligation”.
