Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn told Sarajevo-based daily Dnevni avaz that Bosnia and Herzegovina was losing precious time due to politicians’ failure to establish authorities in the country.
“Country without a government is not in a position to re-launch reforms necessary for the EU integration”, said Hahn.
“The EU needs collocutors with whom it would talk about plans to address priorities identified in the European Commission’s Opinion”, he added.
Hahn explained that the European Commission’s Opinion included a comprehensive plan for reforms which had to be implemented in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the country to start moving towards the European integration.
“Legislative and executive authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina now have to move from words to actions”, said Hahn.
