Women’s national football team of Bosnia and Herzegovina continues their UEFA Women’s Euro 2021 qualifying campaign with a match against Malta at the ‘Asim Ferhatovic Hase’ Stadium in Sarajevo on Tuesday, September 3, at 1700 hrs.
Bosnia is in a qualifying group B, alongside Italy, Denmark, Israel, Georgia and Malta, and has played only one match so far - a 7-1 victory against Georgia at the Bosnia and Herzegovina Football Association Training Centre in Zenica last Friday.
One day earlier, Malta was defeated by Denmark, 8-0.
The 2021 UEFA Women's Championship will be held in England between July 11 and August 1, 2021, with the final to take place at the Wembley Stadium.
With the hosts England qualifying automatically, a total of 47 UEFA nations have entered the qualifying competition to determine the remaining 15 spots in the final tournament.
The teams were drawn into nine qualifying groups; the nine group winners and the three best runners-up qualify directly for the final tournament, while the remaining six runners-up advance to the play-offs.
Bosnia and Herzegovina and Malta have played four times in the past, with Bosnia winning three of those games, and the remaining one ending up in a 1-1 draw.
