Bosnian tennis player Damir Dzumhur lost to France’s Adrian Mannarino in the quarterfinals of the ATP tournament in Zhuhai.
The 31-year-old French won in straight sets, 6-1, 6-4 in one hour and 19 minutes.
Dzumhur dropped his two opening service games, allowing Mannarino to storm to a 5-0 lead and take the first set without having to face a single break point.
Former world No. 23 found his rhythm at the beginning of the second set, and even took a 3-1 lead - but Mannarino immediately broke him back, and then once more at 4-4 to close the match and secure semi-final clash with Albert Ramos-Vinolas of Spain.
Mannarino and Dzumhur have met four times on the ATP Tour, with the Bosnian now trailing 1-3.
