Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and her husband Prince Daniel Westling, Duke of Västergötland, will pay a visit to Sarajevo on November 5-7.
According to the statement issued by the Embassy of Sweden to Bosnia and Herzegovina, the issues they will focus on during the visit include climate, environment, sustainable development, innovation and entrepreneurship as well as youth.
The aim of the visit is also to strengthen the already good relations between the countries.
Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel will be accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for the Environment and Climate of Sweden Isabella Lövin.
This visit is one of the two official visits that the Crown Princess undertakes every year.
Media reported that Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel were supposed to meet with members of the tripartite Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, attend the conference on climate and innovations in the Parliament of BiH, and visit institutions supported by Sweden - Sarajevo Music Academy, War Childhood Museum in Sarajevo, and the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina, among others.
They will pay a visit to Mount Trebevic, meet Swedish-Bosnian entrepreneurs and talk with beneficiaries of Swedish projects from all over the country.
Princess Victoria will also plant a tree with Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mirko Sarovic, Minister of Spatial Planning, Civil Engineering and Ecology of the RS Srebrenka Golic, FBiH Minister of Environment and Tourism Edita Djapo and Brcko District Mayor Sinisa Milic.
