Bosnian tennis player Damir Dzumhur climbed up two places to world No. 107 even though he is yet to win a main-draw ATP tournament match in 2020.
Six days ago, Dzumhur lost to Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov in the first round of the ATP Tour 500 series tournament in Acapulco.
The 27-year-old entered the main draw of the 2020 Mexican Open after he defeated Joao Menezes of Brazil and Australia’s Alex Bolt in tournament’s two qualifying rounds.
However, Dzumhur’s defeat against Dimitrov was his sixth consecutive first-round loss at the beginning of new season. He has already crashed out in the first round of tournaments in Doha, Melbourne, Montpellier, New York and Delray Beach.
Sarajevo-born three-time ATP Tour titlist’s highest-ever rank was No. 23, which he held for three weeks, between July 2 and July 23, 2018.
