Croatia has opened the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina for a transit of freight vehicles, media reported on Tuesday morning.
Since April 19, 2020, trucks from Bosnia and Herzegovina were allowed to enter Croatia only at three border crossings - Bosanska Gradiska-Stara Gradiska, Bosanski Samac-Slavonski Samac, and Bijaca-Nova Sela.
Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zoran Tegeltija confirmed on Monday that the country’s borders would open on June 1.
He also said that businessmen from other countries would be allowed to enter Bosnia and Herzegovina even before the official opening of country’s borders. They will need to prove that they had tested negative for coronavirus no more than 48 hours prior to arriving in BiH, as well as to provide an invitation letter from the company they want to visit in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
