Bosnia and Herzegovina registered the highest number of new COVID-19 cases in a single day since the outbreak of the pandemic – the number of new cases tested positive on Tuesday was 728, and 20 persons unfortunately died of COVID-19 on the same day.
In an effort to curb the spreading of coronavirus, healthcare authorities in both entities of Bosnia and Herzegovina have issued new orders and recommendations.
The FBiH Ministry of Healthcare recommends work from home or flexible working hours in all businesses and institutions where such model is possible, as well as switch to online classes in all schools. Elderly citizens and chronic disease patients are advised to stay at home as much as possible, and all citizens are advised to avoid large gatherings and crowds.
The RS Crisis Headquarters for COVID-19 ordered compulsory wearing of face masks outdoors. All public events with live music have been banned, as well as private gatherings of more than 10 people. The work of catering facilities will be limited to the times between 6:00 and 24:00 hours until November 16.
