Due to the deterioration of the epidemiological situation, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Ministry of Healthcare Crisis HQ officially decided to restrict movement of citizens. As of Wednesday, November 11, 2020, a restriction of movement will be in from 11 pm to 5 am. Representatives of the Ministry explained that the new measure is not curfew, noting that during curfew everything, including public transportation and work of catering facilities, is suspended.

Besides the restriction of movement of the citizens, the Ministry also decided to limit indoor and outdoor gatherings, as well as private events such as weddings and funerals to 30 persons. The decision on compulsory wearing of facemasks indoors and outdoors has been extended. The new measures will be reviewed every seven days and they will be either eased or tightened depending on the epidemiological situation.


Bosnia and Herzegovina registered 1,605 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday and 46 deaths.
