A new ice skating rink has opened in Sarajevo, in the 'Safet Zajko' Center for Education, Sport and Recreation.

Skating is free for all ages, and those requiring skates may rent a pair for the symbolic price of 1KM (per 45 minutes of skating). The rink is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and it will be closed on February 10.

Ice skating is a favorite winter activity of Sarajevans, with rinks in several locations in the city. Currently, there are two more rinks operating in the city – at the Zetra Sports Center and at Skenderija.
