A total of 381,896 tourists arrived in Bosnia and Herzegovina between January and April 2019, which is 10.5 percent more than in the first four months of 2018.

Bosnia and Herzegovina hosted a total of 818,852 overnight stays in all types of accommodation establishments - a 12.4-percent increase compared to 2018 - out of which 68.3 percent were overnight stays of foreign tourists.

According to the Agency for Statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the majority of non-resident tourists in the country arrived from Croatia (23.3 percent), Serbia (13.4%), Slovenia (6.5%) and Italy (5.2%).

When it comes to the average length of stay, tourists from Estonia and Latvia lead the way with 3.9 and 3.6 nights respectively.
