Irish low-cost airline Ryanair and management of Mostar International Airport are negotiating the introduction of Ryanair flights from this airport in the early 2020.

Media in Bosnia and Herzegovina reported that negotiations have been launched several months ago. Reportedly, in line with the company’s business model, Ryanair is asking for a discount on airport fees which airline carriers pay per passenger.

The management of Mostar International Airport will try to compensate for discounts with the funds provided to the Airport by the Government of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton. The HNC Government has already expressed support to signing of agreement on cooperation with Ryanair.

Destinations and the exact number of Ryanair flights from the Mostar International Airport are yet to be announced.
