Hungarian low cost airline Wizz Air has planned to suspend flights from the Tuzla Airport to Vienna, Stockholm, Växjö and Baden-Baden at the start of the 2019/2020 winter season, which begins on October 27.

Representatives of the Tuzla International Airport claim that those flights are likely to be reintroduced at the beginning of the 2020 summer season.

Tuzla Airport handled a total of 271,006 passengers during the first half of 2019, representing a decrease of 1.6 percent.

However, airport’s officials believe that the Tuzla International Airport will handle a total of 620,000 passengers by the end of the year, which would represent a nine-percent year-on-year increase.
