International Airport in Tuzla has seen its passenger numbers decline in January, as it handled a total of 35,188 passengers, or 3.2 percent less than in the same month of 2019.

The airport experienced several days of adverse weather conditions during the month, which resulted in cancellation of some arrivals.

Airport’s representatives claim that slight decline in the number of passengers is a result of reduction of some airlines’ operations during the winter season. Also, there is nothing to suggest that decline in the number of passengers might have something to do with the global outbreak of COVID19 virus.

According to Exyuaviation.com, Tuzla Airport is currently in talks with FlyBosnia over the introduction of services to London.
