With currently 292 hiking routes all around BiH there are plenty of options for outdoor enthusiasts. In total 288 hikes and 4 nature trails are waiting to be explored. We know it is hard to pick one, so here are our suggestions for you for the upcoming weekend.
Those who want to go a little bit further from Sarajevo for a hike, can take part in the hiking route titled ‘Ko nije video Hajducka vrata?’ that begins early on September 6, Sunday morning at 6,30hrs. This is a full-day tour organized by the Jablanica-based Extreme Sports Club ‘4Seasons’ that includes one of the most beautiful phenomenon in BiH on the Cvrsnica Mountain; Cvrsnica is protected under the Nature Park Blidinje and its geomorphological object in the form of an arc Hajducka vrata (2000m) is protected as the natural monument since 1985. Participants will be able to stay on this location and take photos for approximately an hour. Participation fee is BAM 35 and it includes transport from Sarajevo-Blidinje-Sarajevo and tour guide. As part of this tour, the organizers also offer the possibility for those who are interested to reach the Trinjaca peak (2038). The organizers describe the tour as technically not that demanding, but this is all-day trip and you are supposed to bring you own food and water. Organizers of all of the three events call on participants to follow recommendations of authorities in BiH related to measures of protection from spreading of the Coronavirus.
